The Guy in The Porta Potty isn’t my Prospect.

by Brandon Morton

Do You believe the Time old Classic “Everyone is Your Prospect”?

7 years ago, I use to be what you would call a crapy lead. My Attitude was “Why would I pay to get a Job? Laugh all you want. I really said that.

Hey even with that attitude, My sponsor didn’t have to twist my arm to get me to join my first Network Marketing Company. He told me he would do all the work and I would Make all the Money. Worse than that he paid for me to join the company.

Then He was surprised when I didn’t work. True Story.

It’s probably obvious that I didn’t understand the Concept of Network Marketing. (Nor did my sponsor for that matter.) It’s even fair to say I had no clue about the running a traditional business.

My mindset was one of an employee.

So why the Hell would I work a network marketing company, let alone pay my own money to Join?

I was a SUCKY PROSPECT. Do You want the person I use to be, in your business? Do You want the person who Sponsored me, in your Business?

NO of course you Don’t. So why do you still think everyone is your prospect?

Get this through your Head……….

No One Is Worth Your Time Until They’ve Shown

An Interest In What You’re Offering And Have

Asked You For More Information.

That’s why I am a firm believer in the concept of generating your own leads.

You could think that your neighbor down the street would be perfect for your business because of one reason or another. He works to many hours and wants more time with his family.

He has loads of connections…great people skills…

sure, he might be a potential prospect, but he’s not a prospect worth pursuing until he’s actively

seeking a solution to his problem.

It doesn’t matter how qualified you think a person is or how good you think they’d be at

this business. It’s not even enough if a person doesn’t want to start their own business.

Until they go out of their way to get more information on how to do it, they’re just another bystander. Not a player in the game. They’re not worth going after.

So now your scratching your head wondering how I turned from negative to joining the network marketing industry, and becoming a leader within.

It took 2 years and 3 more network Marketing companies after joining my first company to get my head on straight. And 2 more years after that before I made any money at it.

My education was a long and expensive journey. It’s a story left for another day.

The point is do you want to wait 2 years or 4 years before you get a person in your business that is willing to learn or even work?

I will say it again, You shouldn’t WASTE your time with people who AREN’T READY for financial freedom.

Your time would be better invested in the people who want financial freedom. People who want to go to work. People who want what you have to offer.

You must become the hunted not the hunter.
